The deployment of new disruptive technologies will allow service providers the delivery of innovative services and guarantee new sources of revenue beyond usual data and voice services.  One of the most pressing questions that service providers have is about the investment requested to offer those kind of services and the main question is how to meet and/or exceed business expectations.

 

Part I

The Business Case for Wimax

Objective:  This presentation is addressed to executives that require a broader understanding regarding the business aspects of applications, services and operations involving Wimax.  This workshop will focus on each area involved in the implementation of a successful Wimax business model, including the commercial, financial and technological aspects.

Objective:  This presentation will address the IPTV development and the opportunities for all service providers and will provide analysis of the key points concerning IPTV deployment and checking the potential impact on business.

  • Will IPTV generate income or will it represent a competitive differential?
  • Definition of the business models
  • Identifying consumer segments in the beginning of the IPTV, VoD launching
  • Choosing the content to be adopted by the IPTV content providers
